14 years the Airdrie Pro Rodeo is ranked 4th in Canada for contestant
entries!

This
is our 41st year! It all started back in 1967 when we were an "FCA"
event - Foothills Cowboy Association. In 1994 we became a professional
rodeo.

In
2007 we had many of the top contestants in the world including
many world champions, competing for over $70,000 in prize money.

We
are the 14th largest professional rodeo in Canada out of 60 rodeos.

In 2008 we
became the newest stop on the Canadian Rodeo tour - a high profile, high excitement, talent-driven tour.
- We have dual
approval with the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association (CPRA)
as well as with the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA).
